Housing Requirements
The AF-20-3690 fits any standard 20-inch Big Blue housing with 2.5-inch inner diameter. Compatible with Pentek #20 housings, Hydronix HF series, Culligan HD-950, and generic 20"×4.5" sump housings using standard cartridges. Requires low flow rate application or dedicated fluoride filtration point with flow restrictor to achieve 0.5 gpm contact time.
Replacement Schedule
Capacity-Based Replacement
Replace when rated capacity is reached. Actual lifespan depends heavily on influent fluoride concentration and pH stability
Time-Based Maximum
Replace every 6 months even if capacity not reached to prevent media channeling and biological growth in low-use systems
